Neil spent the early part of his career as an economist at the Bank of England and also worked in the commodity and currency trading department at Mars Inc's UK subsidiary. In 1983 Neil founded Record Currency Management where he has been principal shareholder and Chairman ever since. He is the author of numerous books and articles on currency and risk management topics. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and seminars and is acknowledged as one of the leading figures in the currency management industry. He is a Visiting Fellow and Investment Committee member of Nuffield College, Oxford, and Chairman of the Institute of Economic Affairs, London.
