Tim Edwards - Non-executive Director





Tim Edwards was appointed as a Non-executive Director in March 2018. Tim is Chairman of Storm Therapeutics Limited, a company pioneering the development of RNA modulating enzymes spun out of the Gurdon Institute, Cambridge University, and a Director of Ervaxx Limited, a company developing innovative cancer vaccines based on biological insights licenced from the Francis Crick Institute, London. Tim is also a Trustee of the Institute of Research in Schools; a Governor of Magdalen College School, Oxford; and a Fellow of the RSA, a charity founded in 1754 which drives ideas, innovation and social change.

Tim was previously a Member of the Governing Board of Innovate UK, the UK's innovation agency; Chairman of Atopix Therapeutics Limited acquired by Chiesi Farmaceutici SpA in November 2016 and President and Chief Executive Officer of Cellzome Inc. acquired by GlaxoSmithKline plc in 2012; a Non-Executive Director of the Cell Therapy Catapult, and Chair of the UK BioIndustry Association. Tim is a Chartered Accountant and formerly a Director of Corporate Finance at NatWest Markets.
